Red Desert Oasis offer hours of entertainment indoors and outdoors. Step into relaxation as you soak in the private hot tub, or explore the lagoon with our provided 3 paddleboards. Challenge your friends and family to a game of ping pong or cozy up for some board games and Xbox fun. With 4 scooters at your disposal, exploring the neighborhood becomes a breeze. There are 2 living spaces to relax and play games, each has game tables! There is a variety of board games to please one and all.

Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen and the large dining room table for family meals and don't forget the grill for added options! Bon appetite!

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. A gorgeous resort pool, 10-foot fire tables, and an oversized hot tub are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. Roof-top Yoga classes, kid’s crafts and activities, Food Truck nights, and even Dive-In Movies where you can watch a fun movie on the big screen from the pool or Lagoon are just some of the fun events you can experience when you stay at the Desert Color community!

Additionally, while staying in this property as a Red Rock Vacation Rentals guest, take advantage of our local business discounts for places such as Tuacahn Amphitheater, Pizza Factory, ATV rentals, Cafe Sabor, Bike Rentals, and more! There is boat, RV, or trailer parking on the southwest side of the community.

While this will not impact your use of any of the provided amenities, we want to remind all guests to only use the designated and completed roads and pathways, and to steer clear of any active construction activity. We had the best time at this home. It was beautiful and so accommodating and super clean. It had everything we needed and more. We cooked every night. It was so nice having the paddle boards to take to the lagoon. That was lots of fun. We also went to the lake one day and having the chairs, wagon and cooler was great. There are plenty of towels for everyone. There are lots of board and card games, which kept the kids occupied. Overall, we loved every part of it and can't wait to come back.

Wonderful new property - Desert Color is an amazing place with lots of activities! The Lagoon / Pool were amazing and it was nice to have paddle boards! It is a bit of a walk with them, you'll likely need to transport them in your vehicle - just fyi! There were events going on for the kids at the recreation center and pickle ball courts etc. Moreover - inside the home was an Xbox / Pool Tables and lots of Roku TVs - kids were never bored! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Just FYI - There is construction all around the property as this neighborhood is still being built and this was literally one of the first units built. They are building more units across the street - and the model home is one of the attached townhomes. Having said that, it didn't bother us at all - there was no one around at night - and the pricing was MORE than worth it. There was tons of space in the home for our family and we had an amazing time! We would definitely come back!

Generali Global Assistance Vacation Rental Travel Insurance has been made available for guests to purchase at the time of making their reservation. Vacation Rental Travel Insurance reimburses for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize the guest’s vacation investment and force the guest to incur unplanned expenses.

Red Rock Vacation Rentals strongly recommends our guests purchase this valuable protection. By opting out of Travel Insurance, the guest acknowledges they have read and understood Red Rock Vacation Rentals’ cancellation policy and chooses not to purchase Vacation Rental Travel Insurance on behalf of all occupants in the unit.

Reservation Guarantee

Our reservation guarantee allows you to book a trip with confidence. You will be entitled to refunds and rescheduling options not otherwise provided to guests who have opted “out” of this program. Without the reservation guarantee you will have a zero cancellation policy and zero reschedule policy. There will be absolutely no refunds unless Desert Color Resort is notified within 24 hours of the reservation being made. 24 hours after booking, should you have to cancel your reservation at any point, for any reason, you will lose what you’ve paid up to that point. By not purchasing the reservation guarantee, you will accept that you forfeit all monies paid if you have to cancel your reservation.

The Reservation Guarantee allows for:

  • A full refund 15+ days prior to arrival for 2-5 bedroom properties.
  • A full refund 45+ days prior to arrival for 6+ bedroom properties.

For cancellations made outside of the 45 or 15 days, Desert Color Resort refunds the entire amount of your payments made minus the cost of the reservation guarantee (which is only 7% of the total rent).

For cancellations made inside of the 45 or 15 day time frame, when refunds are no longer available, you will be allowed to reschedule your stay in that same property within 12 months, but no monies will be refunded. After the 12 months, all monies are forfeited.

Without the Reservation Guarantee, absolutely no refunds.
